Home Learning

Everyone has been working so hard at home, we're proud of all the children and parents for adapting and persevering  Take a look at the highlights.

During our Possibilities project we have had lots of visitors into school to talk to us about their jobs, hobbies and interests.  We have seen so many new things and met lots of new people such as; dog trainers, wildlife and reindeer experts, Guide Dog trainers, entrepreneurs, people who've travelled the world, a runner, a Bee Keeper, an Artist, media expert, a poet and an author! Below are photographs of some of the visitors.

We had an artist visit us to talk about their work and show us some sketching techniques.

We've even found out about looking after reindeer!

Everyone was impressed with the obedience training, Pebbles was amazing!

We had fun finding out about working in the media and recording sound.

Everyone from Nursery to Year 4 enjoyed finding out about Bee Keeping.

We are really lucky that our local Police Officers and PCSO's have been able to visit every year group. We've had fun finding out about their job, trying on uniform and looking at their vehicles.

Our Fantastic dancers, Batchley Dynamite, performed at Tudor Grange dance event.

Our new Book Tardis was opened by the Mayor of Redditch.

Mrs Claris and Mrs Hall have worked hard to create the Tardis.  It's full of lovely books ready for you to exchange for a book you have finished with or grown out of.  Come and have a look in our Reception area to see if anything takes your fancy!

The lucky winners of our weekly Reader Raffle shared cakes and biscuits with the Mayor whilst our rather talented choir (under the direction of Mrs Wykes) sang to commemorate the opening.

A lovely time was had by all!

Movie Time Magic!

We had a great time at the Palace Theatre recently.  Children from Reception to Year 4 took part in a performance for parents and friends, thats more than 200 children!  Each class took a classic movie theme tune and created their own dance.  The photos show how much the children enjoyed the experience and parents loved coming to the theatre too.
